Slim

I have been around horses my whole life and love the process of working with them from start to finish. I work as a professional pick up man. I enjoy starting and finishing all of our own colts. Our horses are like family and are very versatile and grounded. Working from all areas including the rodeo arena, ranch and programs with people. I look forward to continuing working on horses to get them ready for others and myself to enjoy in whichever field they choose.

Lady is a 6 year old beautiful well minded solid mare! She is completely sound and has not had any issues. She has been with us since a weanling and is one of our main mounts. She is a mare we are proud to have wear our brand. Slim has started and finished her. He rode pasture on her as a 4 year old. She has done all the ranch jobs in all the different seasons. She has picked up professionally her 5 year old year. She has been exposed to everything from the wide open prairies, the bush, hills and the chaos of a rodeo arena. With all the experience she has been given we trust that she is able to handle pressure, and has all the buttons and the experience's you need to have a well rounded safe horse. She has grown into a ladies horse and is one of Cali’s go to ranch horses. Slim has heeled on her in the practice pen and she does the job no problem. Her barn name, “Lady” is a true representation of her essence. She is a very easy mare to haul and be around. She hauled with 4 geldings all last year and never caused any issues. She has had a ton of work and experience and we really look forward to seeing someone enjoy her like we have.

Hi! My name is Cali, I work as an Equine Gestaltist/Cosmetologist and am the Founder of Conscious Effects. My gift is creating experiences and holding space for people while they process their feelings and thoughts. Lending support and guidance in the process so they can move forward in their lives to be more congruent and confident in themselves. Its often our ego that gets in the way of our true spirit. The horses work with me in my gestalt practice as an active partner creating pieces of work to assist people in unlocking their full potential. Once we become more whole within ourselves we become more fulfilled and content. Our horses are our family alongside our two little boys, Hudson and Beckham. Horses bring so much positivity into our lives and have so much to teach us. I stand by them and am enjoying the journey they take us on.
