I have been around horses my whole life and love the process of working with them from start to finish. I work as a professional pick up man. I enjoy starting and finishing all of our own colts. Our horses are like family and are very versatile and grounded. Working from all areas including the rodeo arena, ranch and programs with people. I look forward to continuing working on horses to get them ready for others and myself to enjoy in whichever field they choose.

Ringo is a 9yr old 15.2hh registered paint bay gelding we purchased fall of 2024. He was started as a 2yr old, then got put on the back burner. I put a refresh on him, and added some buttons to finish him off and then went right to cowboying on him. I started picking up on him spring of 2025, he has been hauled to Pro Rodeos this summer and handled everything I could throw at him from huge loud crowds, picking up broncs, being hauled and life on the road. He has been to brandings and pulls hard from the horn. Ringo is great in the bush and doesn’t hesitate to cross creeks or bogs. I have been heading steers on him and he is handling the box very well and hunting the steers.

He does have a scar on his back left foot from a rope (it was there when I got him) It does not affect him in any way. He will paw sometimes if he is tied up and can’t see any other horses, but if he can see one then he is fine. He can act a little spooky on the ground, but it’s all for show.

I am really proud of this gelding and how far he has come since the day I got him. If you are looking for a nice, strong, old school ranch gelding, that can go all day? He’s your guy! Hi! My name is Cali, I work as an Equine Gestaltist/Cosmetologist and am the Founder of Conscious Effects. My gift is creating experiences and holding space for people while they process their feelings and thoughts. Lending support and guidance in the process so they can move forward in their lives to be more congruent and confident in themselves. Its often our ego that gets in the way of our true spirit. The horses work with me in my gestalt practice as an active partner creating pieces of work to assist people in unlocking their full potential. Once we become more whole within ourselves we become more fulfilled and content. Our horses are our family alongside our two little boys, Hudson and Beckham. Horses bring so much positivity into our lives and have so much to teach us. I stand by them and am enjoying the journey they take us on.
